CABLE LUGS

Our custom solutions for various applications include a wide range of cable lugs, including forged cable lugs, stamped cable lugs and tubular cable lugs. At Intercable Tec, we employ various manufacturing techniques to meet our customers' specific requirements. Our product range includes the following products: 

  • Cable lugs with small flange
  • Cable lugs with assembled nut or screw
  • Cable lugs with insulation crimp
  • Cable lugs bent/angled
  • Cable lugs with coded fitting/shape
  • Cable lugs – waterproofed (sealed)
  • Reducer connector
  • Cappliar stopper

When customers have requirements such as high mechanical strength, high heat resistance and complex geometric shapes, the forged cable lug is the appropriate solution. Moreover, the forging technology easily enables additional functions such as external connection points when they are needed.

Intercable Tec produces punched cable lugs in strict compliance with the regulations of the automotive industry and the rest of the industries in which we are present. This includes the use of highly conductive copper-iron alloys and the implementation of flexible cripple claw designs.

Our tubular cable lugs are the ideal choice when it comes to increased mechanical strength and adaptation to individual design requirements in limited installation spaces. Manufactured from highly conductive copper as the base material and tin, nickel or silver plated surfaces depending on customer requirements, Intercable Tec's tubular cable lugs offer excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. Certain variants of the tubular cable lugs can also be used to connect aluminum cables.

We develop battery clamps manufactured by either stamping or forging technology, specifically for direct connection to the battery and cable harness. We are particularly proud of our stamped battery clamps, with which we are the market leader in Europe and among the top 3 suppliers worldwide. Our products are distinguished by a variety of features that we can design to meet our customers' individual requirements. These include additional features such as jump-start points, power distributors or pyrotechnic isolators. We also offer a wide range of geometric design options to meet customer needs. With the help of our in-house quality laboratory, we are able to ensure consistently high product quality even for large production volumes.
